26 Post Offices Offer Tax Day Late Collections

Your federal income tax forms are due Tuesday. The Internal Revenue Service says as of March 28th 91 percent of tax returns this year have been filed online. However, if you are still mailing, 26 post offices are open offering late collection of mail from specially marked boxes Tuesday. The boxes will be labeled with bright orange signs indicating:  Tax Mail Drop - Final Pickup Midnight. The locations of the 26 Post Offices offering later collections are: Airport (Main post office), Downtown, Ewa Beach, Hawaii Kai, Kailua, Kaneohe, Kapalama, Makiki, Mililani, Pearl City , Waialae-Kahala, Waialua, Waianae, Waikiki and Waipahu on Oahu; Kahului, Kihei, Lahaina (Main post office), Makawao and Wailuku on Maui; Hilo (Airport),Kailua-Kona and Kamuela on the Big Island; Lihue on Kauai; Kaunakakai on Molokai and Lanai City on Lanai.
