Police, Sheriffs Search for Escaped Inmates

Posted June 17th, 2014 @ 1:11pm

Police and sheriffs are looking for two escapees from Oahu Community Correctional Center. Twenty-three-year-old Daniel Skelton skipped out Monday. Department of Public Safety officials believe Skelton punched a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom at the facility's Annex One, then climbed through the ceiling and got onto the roof of the building. He was being held for violating probation. Another inmate -- Allan Abihai -- walked away from the work furlough program less than a week ago. Abihai was convicted of attempted murder and rape.
