Prosecutors charged a Waianae man Tuesday in connection with a violent robbery of a 52-year-old woman on February 2nd. Twenty-four-year-old Josiah Figueroa was arrested just before 5:30 p.m. Monday at his Paakea Street home. He was charged yesterday with manslaughter, second-degree robbery and several contempt charges. His bail is set at 500-thousand-dollars. Julie Stephenson was approached from behind by a man who stole her purse and knocked her down. She suffered a broken hip and internal injuries. Stephenson was in a coma for three weeks and died on February 26th.
