Wild Video Captures Two Black Bears Fighting In Front Of New Jersey Home

A New Jersey man captured a wild scene as two black bears fought each other in front of his home in Frankford Township. Corey Bale told NJ.com that a neighbor warned him that there was a bear in his backyard near an area where his son likes to play. Bale went outside to see what was going on and heard a loud commotion in his front yard.

"When I went out to look, I actually heard the bears' jaws hitting together as they were fighting and growling at each other," Bale said.

Bale pulled out his phone and started recording as two bears stood on their hind legs biting and clawing at each other. He shared the 24-second clip on Facebook, where it quickly went viral.

After Bale stopped recording and went inside, the two bears fought for about another minute before running across the street. When they left, he went out in his yard and found bloody clumps of fur and knew the bears weren't just playing around.

Bale says that while he is used to seeing bears in the area, especially as the weather gets warmer, he has never seen anything like that before.
